Our mentors are black women who have overcome societal barriers, challenges and achieved success in their careers. They bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and experience to the table, and are committed to positively impacting black girls' lives.
Whether it's through sharing their own personal experiences, offering career advice, or simply lending an ear, our mentors play an important role in the lives of Black Girls in The Lead by helping them overcome the barriers that prevent them from reaching their goals and building the confidence they need to succeed.

Our mentorship program seeks to empower and uplift young black girls between the ages of 12 and 18 by providing them with invaluable guidance, support, and resources. We aim to foster the development of future leaders within their communities and careers by offering mentorship opportunities that help them navigate challenges, discover their strengths, and realize their full potential.

Our mentorship program is open to any black woman who is successful in her career and is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of black girls. We are looking for seasoned professionals to become mentors and share their knowledge and expertise with the next generation of black girls.

The time commitment for mentorship varies depending on the needs of the mentee and the mentor's schedule. Our program is designed to be flexible and to accommodate the busy schedules of both mentors and mentees. On average, mentors and mentees meet for 1-2 hours per month, but this can be adjusted as needed

We partner with other organizations to provide mentors with training and support to ensure they have the tools they need to make the most of the mentorship experience. We also provide capacity building for our mentors to ensure they feel ready to take on this role. We are available to answer any questions you may have and to provide support as needed.

Our mentees receive comprehensive support through our mentorship program, which encompasses educational access, mentorship, and various support resources. Additionally, they have access to our online platform and support network, all while receiving guidance and encouragement from their mentors.
